About Able World Foundation, Inc.

Able World Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in California, USA in June 1981 as a non-profit corporation. It later acquired 501(c)(3) status. Our motto is: "Networking for a Better World via Education." Able World strongly believes that a world of peace, progress, and prosperity is possible. This will become a reality by providing equal access to education and vocational training through active participation in social, economic and political institutions to all young people. Able World is embarking on a new path by launching the "Able World Youth Clubs" worldwide in schools. These youth clubs will focus on growing a culture of peace, progress, and prosperity (3P∞) from childhood through the teen years.

Within the past 24 years, Able World has received awards from three Bay Area Mayors, namely: Diane Feinstein of San Francisco in 1981; Lionel J. Wilson of Oakland in 1983; Elihu Harris of Oakland in 1994. These awards were for Able World's contributions to the improvement in the quality of life for children and teens in particular, and the public in general.

Able World actively promoted and continues to promote international understanding and a favorable environment for the growth of business and trade between Nigeria and other African countries and the United States. It organized science fieldtrips for underserved children and teens, and conducted after school programs in math and language arts.
